Meet Mark "Q" Richardson
Mark Richardson was born in Dallas, Texas, raised in the Oak Cliff area. He is happily married for over 20 years and is the proud father of four sons. After graduating from Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, Mark pursued a career in the U.S Navy. He served this country for 20 years, stationed most of his tenure in Norfolk, VA, and completed six tours overseas. Upon retirement from the U.S Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, Mark left Virginia and reclaimed Texas as his home base. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business at the University of North Texas. Afterwards, Mark attended Michael’s Barber College in Irving, Texas where he completed his training program and obtained his barber licensure.
Mark has an unwavering passion for cutting hair that extends back as early as 14 years of age. He was afforded the opportunity to fine-tune his skills over the last 15 years, establishing an array of repeat clientele. Mark refined his technique to deliver impeccable fades, haircuts, and exceptional beard grooming. He continued to expand his repertoire to include enhancements and straight razor shaves with hot towel therapy. Mark allowed his hunger for excellence to lead him into his next venture, opening Fadez By Q barbershop.
